What types of vehicles do you have available for charter?
We have 54 and 57 Passenger Motorcoaches, 29 Passenger Mini-Coaches, School Buses, an 18-Passenger Limousine Coach, Vans, SUVs, Limousines and Sedans.
Are your vehicles insured?
Yes, we are fully insured.
How far in advance should we schedule our group’s transportation needs?
The sooner, the better. For some parts of the year it is best to schedule 6 months to a year in advance, such as for late Spring/early Summer, mid-summer, and Fall. No matter what time of year you are planning your trip, it is best to at least get a quote as soon as you have an idea of what sort of trip you want to do and when it will be. At the time of your quote we can give you a better idea of how soon you should plan on booking your transportation to help ensure availability.
Do you have wheelchair accessible vehicles?
We have full size motorcoaches that are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know when you call for a quote or make a reservation that you require or may require a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Do you travel outside of the State of Maine?
We will travel, and have traveled, all over the contiguous United States.
Do you travel into Canada?
Yes, we will and have traveled into Canada. Please make sure everyone in your group has an up-to-date passport before departing on a trip you have planned for Canada.
Are there any limits on the amount of time your vehicles and drivers can travel before requiring a rest or break?
We have requirements as enforced by the United States Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration what we strictly follow for our drivers and vehicles.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Checks, and all major credit cards.
What if I have to change the itinerary prior to my trip or cancel the trip altogether?
Please call us as soon as you have any changes to your itinerary or need to cancel you trip. Itinerary changes are subject to changing the cost of your charter. Cancellations may be subject to canelation fees, loss of deposit, or loss of entire charter cost depending on how far in advance the charter is canceled. Please see the “Our Policies” section of our website under “About Us/Safety” for more information.
Can we bring food, beverage or a cooler on the bus?
Food and drinks are permitted in our vehicles, but we do ask that you take care of any trash in the trash receptacles on the bus. Do not put trash into the toilet on the bus! Coolers are permitted also, but they must be small enough to fit under the seats or in the overhead storage compartment. They must not block the isle and we ask that you do not put them on the seats as they damage they upholstery. Large coolers must be stored in the luggage compartment of the bus.
Do your motorcoaches have heat and air conditioning?
Yes, all of our motorcoaches are fully climate controlled.
Am I under any obligation if I submit a request for a quote?
You are under no obligations if you request a charter quote. This is merely a quote to let you know the estimated cost of your potential trip.
Does a quote hold a vehicle for me?
Requesting and obtaining a quote does not hold a vehicle for you. We will check availability when you request the quote to let you know if we have the availability at that time, but the quote does not guarantee availability.
Are alcoholic beverages permitted on the buses?
Alcoholic beverages are permitted on our motorcoaches and mini-coaches but it is up to the discretion of the driver and the driver can and will check IDs if he/she feels it necessary. Alcohol is prohibited on school buses.
